Students used probeware technology to collect scientific data during an argument driven inquiry lab over enzymes and the conditions in which those enzymes could be denatured.
Students used their prior knowledge over enzymes to expose the enzyme to different environmental conditions and determine which of those affect the enzyme the most.
They then took their data and worked collaboratively with their group and critically examined their data and provide appropriate justification for their data.
Students routinely use TI-Inspire probeware to collect data and graph in Honors and AP Chemistry.
Students use the “Technique” App in Scientific Research to conduct research and demonstrate critical thinking
in elucidating the proportional relationship between height and drop time. The app records in
slow motion and has a timer on the screen.
