Additional Math Interdisciplinary Samples

Below are some samples of interdisciplinary math tasks.

Circles Project Math and Research I

Scientific Research teachers collaborated with Accelerated Geometry B/Algebra II teachers to develop, within students, an understanding of proportional relationships using an inquiry lab.
● Students investigated the relationship between circles, area, radius, and circumference.

Food Web and Matrices

Students apply concepts of a biological food web to the development of matrices in math.

"Are you Positive?" Open Ended task

Use of biological data to address probability.
